The photoelectric beams have 100 times sensitivity allowance, and no complaints have been ever made for dust accumulation on beam covers. However, we recommend wiping off dust regularly with moist cloth. |

Why do beam detectors give false alarms around dawn and/or dusk? |

This is caused by sunlight when the sun is near the horizon. You may switch the locations of transmitter and receiver, or slightly change the angles of the transmitter / receiver. Only a very small change is effective for the prevention of false alarms. |
